This is what happens when you’ve moved everything out of your old apartment into your new apartment but forgot to start the electric service at the new apartment while simultaneously buying a new tent.  I have therefore decided to compile a list of 5 similarities between this situation and real camping:
Similarities:
1. No toilet paper - one must resort to leaves if the situation presents itself.
2. No refrigerator or stove - should I start a campfire to eat?
3. No clean water - is the LA river water cleaner than the tap water? It’s walking distance to the “river.”
4. Insects - this one is self-explanatory.
5. Noisey neighbors - that token friend who brought his gun camping can’t shoot one off into the air to get the neighbors to be quiet unfortunatley.
